The residents Bible is an application, intended especially for resident doctors, which contains a lot of useful information, especially at the beginning of the residents life. We considered it absolutely necessary to help with information on completing the observation sheets, in order not to depend on the kindness of older resident colleagues to teach you how to complete them, with information on medications, the interpretation of analyzes and many other useful information. The application is structured in several large chapters:- the chapter related to FO - I have provided the basic structure of filling in the observation sheet and a model as an example, but because there is no standard model for filling out the observation sheets, the claims of the doctor you work with or the hospital in which you carry out your activity may differ. Some columns in the observation sheet are specific to each specialization, but you will get used to these particularities over time.- the chapter on medical tests - this chapter provides essential information about the most common tests you will encounter. The values are indicative, however, because they differ from one bibliography to another, from one laboratory to another.- the chapter on medicines - this chapter in medicine being a very vast one, we considered it important to have as simplified a structure as possible for the classes of medicines. As there are other applications that provide complete information about dosage, administration, adverse effects, etc., we tried to offer what is missing or what we would have liked to have at the beginning of the journey. It is very useful to have all the commercial names of a drug at hand (some schemes can be more difficult to load, so you may have to wait a few seconds until they appear on the screen). Other commercial names that still exist, in addition to the international common name or the active substance itself (eg. Clindamycin is also found under the commercial name of Clindamycin in addition to the commercial names written in purple, even if it is not and she with purple). The part of the leaflets is strictly informative, because there can be differences in the leaflet of the same drug but produced by different companies, and also differences between the leaflets of the same drug from the same company but of different concentration. Thats why consult exactly the leaflet of the medicine you are prescribing. We introduced a single leaflet per pharmaceutical form and concentration as a model.- medical practice guides - unfortunately, not all specializations have medical guides, or some that exist cannot be entered in this application for various reasons.- other information - this chapter contains information that we considered useful and that we come across quite often. We continue to bring additions and new, useful information, and to improve the application, thats why there will be periodic updates. The information in this application does not represent medical advice, it is only indicative, because mistakes can creep in, there can be different values depending on the source, etc., therefore, this application is not intended to be exhaustive, but more a guide with basic information, useful for any resident, especially for those in the younger years. If you notice mistakes or have suggestions, you can report them to the email address [email protected] case of unforeseen events, the Residents Bible reserves the right to suspend its activity indefinitely, without prior notice to the users.
